Meat Florfenicol Rapid Test Kit

Florfenicol is a thiamphenicol derivative with the same mechanism of action as chloramphenicol (inhibition of protein synthesis). However, it is more active than either chloramphenicol or thiamphenicol, and may be more bactericidal than previously thought against some pathogens. Due to the potential hazard to humans, strict MRLs have been set in EU, USA and other countries. This Meat Florfenicol Rapid Test Kit is a new test tool to detect florfenicol in meat such as pork, beef and chicken, detection limit meets EU, China, USA and Russian MRLs.

Materials required but not provided

• Micropipette, 20-200ul
• Microwell Incubator, with 25-40 ℃
• Plastic Pipette, 96pcs

Sample preparation

Meat samples shall be homogenized before testing. Basically, 2g of homogenized meat dissolved with 2ml of diluted sample buffer, shake thoroughly for 2min and then centrifuge for 10min. Take the supernate for rapid testing.
