Ringbio ® KangarooSci ® Bacillus Cereus Count Plate is based on the ISO/AOAC standard method, which utilizes the dehydrated culture medium to cultivate the Bacillus Cereus bacteria in 24h to give you a visual and easily-counting result. This count plate is readily usable and no extra culture media is required. The bacteria will grow on the plate with proper incubation. The result can be enumerated with counter.
Bacillus cereus is an aerobic spore-forming bacterium that is commonly found in soil, on vegetables, and in many raw and processed foods. B. cereus food poisoning may occur when foods are prepared and held without adequate refrigeration for several hours before serving, with B. cereus reaching >106 cells/g.
